Omni-Directional Wheel

The omni-directional wheel called the Mecanum wheel is a mechanical device commonly used in robotics and automation systems. What makes it unique is its ability to move the carrier in any direction without changing direction, depending on its special rim design. The rim of the omni wheel is equipped with multiple inclined wheels whose axis of rotation is at an angle to the main wheel axis.
