I received and installed the cupholder (and the small joystick) on my Robooter X40. They were both easy to install and work very well. I am happy to have done this.
I just received the backpack. It is high quality but has no tags of maker, brand, or list of materials. At first I thought it was made of synthetic leather but after close inspection I am pretty certain it is real leather. It has many different separate compartments that will be great to hold many different items. The main compartment is quite large and reminds me of the backpack I used in college to carry my large heavy books. Overall I love it and am excited to get to use it with my Robooter.
I purchased the cup holder so that I would be able to have my thermos of cold water with me at all times. It will serve its purpose. The basic concept of having the cup holder attached to an armrest that you raise is flawed. I will have to remove the thermos from the holder every time I raise the arm to get in or out of the chair. Unfortunately, I cannot find another place on the chair to attach a cup holder, so I bought this one.
The light seems good and is rechargeable. Low beam, high beam, and flashing. But there is only one spot to mount it under the left or right arm. I also got the cupholder on the left arm, and then this light would be behind it and blocked. So I put it under the right arm where the controls are. But under either arm, when the chair folds down, the flashlight hits the rear edge of the front wheel plastic fender. There seems to be nowhere to put it where it does not hit a fender. So the flashlight needs to be a bit shorter for the X40, or the mounting point molded a little further back. I think this is an engineering mistake. So far I cannot figure out a solution to keep these two components from hitting every time.
I am glad I got this option. I think I like this little joystick rather than the flat palm grip, and the price was right. With this little one, I can use my thumb or one finger to go and maneuver. And I saved the original in case I decide to switch back.
